Castle's Milk Delivery Wagon at White's Hotel, Hoosick Road

Castle's Milk Delivery Wagon at White's Hotel, Hoosick Road. In the early 1900s those who did not live on farms could count on the delivery of milk and other dairy products such as eggs, butter, and pot cheese to the home. Brunswick's close proximity to the city of Troy also encouraged many Brunswick men to establish delivery routes there. White's Hotel, which burned in 1941, stood on the site where Midas Muffler is located today. |

The home delivery of milk and dairy products is a thing of the past. Today's families just hop into their cars and buy their groceries at one of Brunswick's supermarkets or convenience stores. |
