Cropseyville Post Office

Old Cropseyville Post Office, c. 1910. A post office first opened in Cropseyville in 1854. Following the Civil War, the Cropseyville Post Office was located in this building, the home and harness shop of Richard Hulbert. Mr. Hulbert served as postmaster from 1889 to 1899; following his death, the responsibility was passed to his daughter, Clara Hulbert, who served as postmistress for about 50 years.
New The old post office has been returned to use strictly as a private residence and updated.
